The Lunaria Halo Butterfly Tree Sculpture is a delicate, architectural piece that brings the quiet poetry of branches and butterflies into contemporary interiors. Created for Dea’rt Istanbul by artist and restorer Derya Kurdoğlu, the sculpture combines a slender bronze toned tree silhouette with tiny butterflies inside a perfect metal circle, all rising from a solid white marble base.

At approximately 45 × 25 cm with a 10 × 8 cm base, Lunaria has the presence of a gallery object yet remains slender and airy. It feels like a moment of early spring frozen in time – buds just opening, butterflies pausing lightly on the branches.

Inspiration – Botanical Poetry and Moments of Transformation
Kurdoğlu imagined this piece as a visual haiku about change and renewal. The branching form speaks of growth and direction, while the butterflies represent transformation, lightness and fleeting beauty.
