Right of Withdrawal (Where Applicable)
You may request a return within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging.

All returns must be requested by email before sending any item back. Please contact info@deartistanbul.com to start your return request. We will provide the return address and step by step instructions once your request is approved.

The Hermes Aureate Mythic Bust Sculpture is a contemporary tribute to one of the most iconic figures of Greek mythology. Created for Dea’rt Istanbul by artist and restorer Derya Kurdoğlu, this ceramic bust presents Hermes in crisp gallery white, with one side of the face transformed into a textured gold fragment that catches the light like a relic rediscovered.
Resting on a classical round base, the piece blends museum inspired elegance with a bold modern gesture. The contrast between matte white and gilded surface makes this sculpture a striking focal point for consoles, bookshelves, office desks and styled coffee tables.
Inspiration – Messenger of the Gods, Keeper of Stories
In mythology, Hermes is the quick witted messenger of Zeus, guardian of travellers and protector of treasured objects. Kurdoğlu interprets this agile spirit through the idea of “half history, half present”: one side of the face preserves the quiet calm of antique marble, while the other becomes a golden textural veil, suggesting stories layered over time.
The fractured gold area feels like an archeological reveal, as if the inner light of the deity is emerging through the stone. This dialogue between antiquity and modernity allows the sculpture to sit comfortably both in classical interiors and in minimalist, contemporary spaces.
